All Care Plus recognized the need of trained, screened and adequately prepared caregivers in our community. We were established 4 years ago and have trained hundreds of persons in caregiver skills. ACP will not turn a qualified caregiver candidate away for inability to pay.

Thinking ahead, 66 percent of the population -- or more than 138 million Americans -- believe they will need to provide care to someone in the future. (Source: Opinion Research Corporation, 2005).

With projections that 20 percent of the U.S. population will be 65 years or older by 2030, one major American company is taking steps to increase public awareness of and support for the people who will care for these aging citizens: the burgeoning army of family caregivers who now provide more services in the home, free of charge, than the federal government provides in all settings combined. More than one quarter (26.6%) of the adult population has provided care for a chronically ill, disabled or aged family member or friend during the past year. (ALSA)

Virtually one half of the US population has a chronic condition. Of these 41 million were limited in their daily activities. Twelve million are unable to go to school, to work, or to live independently.
