In the Emergency Preparedness class the participants will learn:

• What to do before, during and after an earthquake
• Emergency supplies, emergency food, water and shelter
• Things to know about utilities
• Family communication and reunion planning
• How a neighbourhood can organize itself in response to an emergency or disaster
• The concept of Neighbours Helping Neighbours
• Disaster Response Routes
• First Aid Kits
